I have sought out David Bacco and his outstanding chocolates since the inceptional days in Madison, WI. David is the penultimate professional whose passion is delivered in every bite. This time, I ordered last minute Mother’s Day chocolates for my sister in the Chicago area on Wednesday. They were delivered on Saturday, even during these challenging times. Thank you for making her day, and mine, as I pictured her cozied up on the couch with a masterpiece on her tongue and a smile on her face.

l purchaced the 16 pcs and the chocolate was amazing but the problem they charged me for shipping 17.55 dollars although on the website it says (This item qualifies for free shipping )

The recipient of your chocolates loved them. The only problem was the package was delivered to the doorstep where it sat in the sun for a couple of hours and some of the chocolates melted.

I love giving David's chocolates as gifts since a) they're gorgeous and b) I can order custom boxes to tailor them to the tastes of the person I'm giving them to. The box is really nice and presentation is good (and includes a "key" so people know which chocolates are which).

My only recommendation is that if you live in the SD area, you might want to request to pick up your order instead of mailing. Sometimes the post office isn't very careful and the more delicate truffles can crack during handling. That's not these guys' fault though.
