Rare
Organic Heirloom Dark Chocolate
-I have been working with the Peru Fortunato Chocolate since it's very first year, this 11th year crop, I am pleased to present, as exceptional as the very first year.
Tasting
Notes of This Unique Chocolate Are:
Spicy,
acidic, woody, intense red cherry floral aromas, with delicate flavor of
cherry, a natural sense of cacao sweetness, accompanied by nut and floral top
notes, a hint of cardamom, finishing with vanilla and bitter coffee.
-Rare Organic Heirloom Cacao Beans grow at 3500 feet in the Marañón Canyon in Peru. These cacao beans are descendants of the oldest known Nacional Cacao trees living today. Discovered by farmer Don Fortunato on his land, No. 4 refers to the batch sent to the USDA testing facility confirming its lineage to the Mother Tree.
